IT IS active 2010 contains a number of AJAX Control functions you can use to spice up your web-form applications with responsive and interactive elements. Here are some examples:

Example 1: You never have to say again: „Sorry, this item is not available in stock!“

To avoid telling this your clients, you should always have a sufficient quantity of an item in stock. Therefore you can define a reordering quantity as well as a safety threshold. Instead of entering numbers directly you can use the multi-slider to select a numeric value here. Easy, isn’t it?

This is how you configure the slider in Navision. The values set for minimum, maximum, and set the step size are easy to adapt and you can pick CSS everywhere to make your style work.

Example 2: Improve your data quality by using the "Filtered Text Box"!

To prevent errors at manual data entry, the "filtered text box" function checks while you type. It will filter the valid characters and purges incorrect entries from the outset. In this example, there are no special characters allowed in the address field.
